Dedicated to cultural promotion since 1982, she has developed in the following positions:

•  Chief of the Department of Visual Arts in the Department of the Federal District , Mexico City .

•  Sub director of Plastic Arts in the Department of Plastic Arts in National Institute of Fine Arts.

•  Director of the Gallery in the Auditorio Nacional in INBA.

•  Director of the Centro Cultural X-Teresa.

•  Director of Lourdes Sosa Galeria.

Lourdes Sosa Galeria, dedicated to the integration of art as an essential element to the enrichment of the ordinary life of every human being through cultural promotion, with a plural concept of generations and aesthetics proposals. The Gallery shelters on his four levels artists such as: Arnaldo Coen, Francisco Corzas, Rafael Coronel, Pedro Coronel, Ricardo Martínez, Juan Soriano, among others.

In the Gallery are organized events related with cultural issues such as: conferences, courses, seminaries about art history, projection of movies, book presentations, concerts, etc. It is given advising related with organizing, valuating, coordinating, and enriching collections.

The Gallery is specialized in Contemporary Art, with several expositions and new aesthetic waves. Present temporal expositions and the permanent with Artists of different tendencies: Mexican School of Painting, Transition, Rupture, Post-rupture, cutting-edge, and futuribles, among others.
